With the second trailer of The Flash, we already saw many scenes from the movie, however, an extended version shows even more. This spot was released in Japan, showing new scenes from the movie and hints of what we will enjoy in June.

Part of the trailer shows us more about Barry Allen’s life, an element that went unnoticed in the previous shorts. The extended version also offers the disaster he causes and what life as a superhero is like from a more personal point of view.

The Flash Trailer Extended Version Released in Japan

Warner Bros. Pictures released The Flash extended trailer in Japan. The short film, which lasts 1 minute and 56 seconds, shows scenes we had not seen in the other trailers.

The first scene we highlight is the opening scene with Flash patrolling the city while passersby cheer and admire him. An action that makes the Scarlet Speedster uncomfortable or embarrassed. This part is curious, considering he is one of the most vain characters in the comics and animated series.

The Flash’s extended trailer also shows the interaction between the two Barry Allen. The one we know tries to explain to his namesake that he is from another timeline and gives him a demonstration of his abilities. It also describes Barry’s scene with the mom when he is an adult, indicating that he is getting the memories of this timeline.

We also got to see other scenes that we had already seen, such as when Michael Keaton’s Batman shows his identity to Barry Allen. Also, the scene of General Zod attacking the earth comes, announcing its destruction. We also get a better look at both versions of the speedster in action.

We also see Kara Zor El taking Barry to heaven after recreating the experiment that gave Flash his powers. A scene that has brought controversy, as many think it is Superman.

Other details of the Next DC Movie

In addition to what we saw in The Flash’s extended trailer, we know that Warner Bros. Pictures will release it on June 16, 2023. This will be the penultimate production of the DCEU, to end the version of Zack Snyder and start with the new plot of James Gunn and Peter Safran.

About the cast, we have that will star Ezra Miller as Flash, and Michel Keaton and Ben Affleck will represent their versions of Batman. And the new character will be Sasha Calle’s Supergirl. Michael Shannon will bring back to life the villain, General Zod. Maribel Verdu will be Nora Allen, the speedster’s mother. Other additions include Saoirse-Monica Jackson, Antje Traue, Rudy Mancuso, Ron Livingston, Ian Loh, Billy Crudup, Luke Brandon Field, and Temuera Morrison and Liam Edwards.

One important detail we denoted is that Google places Henry Cavill in the film, despite having been out of DC since 2022. This could be due to the delays and reshoots made on the film; the search engine does not have the full cast updated.
