More Details about Cocaine Bear
Cocaine Bear is an R-rated production, considering the numerous violent scenes with the bear. Most of the budget resources were spent on the CGI that brought the bear to life. In addition to the enormous digital beast, the film featured Keri Russell, O’Shea Jackson Jr., Alden Ehrenreich, Jesse Tyler-Ferguson and Brooklynn Prince.
Elizabeth Banks, who presented a unique plot for this action thriller, led this filming. The film’s suspense, violence and gore don’t detract from the humour. After all, the mayhem that a bear filled to the brim with cocaine can wreak on anyone who crosses his path is a novel idea.

In Cocaine Bear, a drug dealer has a plane crash and lands in the area where the 200 kg bear lives. The bear consumes all the drugs that the cocaine dealer is carrying, driving the animal into a hallucination that would have caused the death of many. This causes the bear to attack anyone who gets in its way, unleashing a torrential rain of blood.
How will Cocaine Bear and Ant-Man 3 do at the Box Office?
Cocaine Bear is a mid-budget film. A category that was about to become extinct and rose like a phoenix with this production: the film could achieve considerable success at the box office like other productions of this type. Examples include Billy Eichner’s Bros, which grossed $4.8 million at the start of its run. We also have A Man Called Otto with $12.8 million.
According to predictions, Cocaine Bear is aiming for $15-20 million in its first weekend of release. This would be the second highest-grossing production at the box office, behind Marvel’s Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. The latter earned $249 million on President’s Day, breaking the records of its previous films. The first film made $57 million, and the other made $76 million.

In the case of Ant-Man, it is likely to stay on top for another week at the box office. However, it may drop considerably from 55% to 65%. This reduction may increase in case the negative reviews spread among users.
Despite all the criticism, there is no denying that Ant-Man’s opening was incredible, being the first film to get over 100 million in the first week. This marks an overall box office increase of 47%. This could leave the table set for upcoming productions expected to be big draws for audiences.
Among these expected productions are Creed III, John Wick 4 and Shazam: Fury of the Gods. The latter could perform phenomenally well, considering the development of both Cocaine Bear and Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania.
