Marvel Spider-Man 2 Game Release Date For 2023

One of the most awaited release dates is for the game Marvel: Spider-Man 2. The information Sony gives about this title is minimal, if not null. We know the title is also in development, like for the mutant Wolverine game. However, one of the most essential villains of this saga leaked the information regarding its release.

The actor who plays the role of the symbiote Venom revealed that Marvel: Spider-Man 2‘s release date would be in September of this year.

Marvel: Spider-Man 2 Release Date Revealed

Tony Todd, the voice actor who plays Venom in the game, revealed via Twitter that Marvel: Spider-Man 2 would be ready for September 2023. He commented that the companies involved in the game would make an incredible marketing strategy in the month of August for an unprecedented launch in September.

The actor did not reveal more information and, in fact, could have annoyed both Insomniac and Sony, the companies involved in this development, by revealing this information. The new Spider-Man game will be available exclusively for PlayStation 5. However, neither Insomniac nor Sony confirmed or denied Tony Todd’s statements made by . Therefore, we must wait for official confirmation that the information the actor revealed is true.

This title is not the first and probably won’t be the last one developed between Insomniac and Sony. In fact, they made the first version of Spider-Man that starred Peter Parker. They also made the alternative version with Miles Morales as the main character.

Gameplay Details

Unlike the two aforementioned releases, fans expected that Insomniac would create a multiplayer game this time. They also hoped the previous titles wouldn’t become separate realities, but this game would be a sequel. However, Sony missed that opportunity and did it in a different way.

This new title would offer the possibility of playing with Morales and Parker. However, you can do it only in multiplayer mode, allowing players to defeat the various villains together. These anti-heroes include Venom and Kraven the Hunter.

The fact that they are placing the possibility of multiplayer in this new title is not as far-fetched as it seems. In fact, it had been said then that Marvel: Spider-Man 2 would have this feature. However, the developers changed their minds and placed only one avatar then.
