God of War: Ragnarok releases a tease for PlayStation fans
God of War: Ragnarok teases us yet again with another release. PlayStation users are becoming increasingly worried about God of War Ragnarok. The main worry is that it will be delayed, but there is also some worry that, being the successor to one of the best games of the previous console generation, it won’t live up to the high expectations it has. Of course, the fact that PlayStation has been silent regarding the game just fuels these two worries. However, if a recent report is to be believed, the game is likely to exceed expectations. Jason Schreier, a reporter for Bloomberg, claims that people he has spoken to about the game appear not only thrilled about it but also claim that it is huge. It’s the last game in Norse mythology from the series.

God of War: Ragnarok Comes To PlayStation This Year
“People working on it say it’s huge and seem to be pretty excited about it. Reminds me of the buzz I was hearing before the 2018 one.” said the Bloomberg reporter. The PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 game God of War: Ragnarok is currently in production and is expected to launch this year. While the actual date is still unknown due to PlayStation’s continued secrecy, reports have suggested that the game comes out in November. Recently, God of War: Ragnarok’s release date leaked to the public.
Jason Schreier, a respected journalist for Bloomberg, said on ResetEra that God of War: Ragnarok is currently planned for November 2022 but did not provide a concrete date. Recently, Schreier also confirmed that a June 30th release date announcement schedule but got internally postponed for unidentified reasons. This came much to the disappointment of enthusiastic fans. Despite the news postponement, the game itself isn’t based on speculation. It’s rumored that the news hold up happened because of the overturning of Roe v Wade. This is probably because it may feel disrespectful to announce important gaming news at the same time as a significant historical event. Many developers weren’t even aware that this was happening. This is because Sony’s hard work to keep things under wraps.

The Official Synopsis For The Game Explains What It’s About
An official blurb about the game from PlayStation states: “From Santa Monica Studio comes the sequel to the critically acclaimed God of War (2018). Kratos and Atreus must journey to each of the Nine Realms in search of answers as they prepare for the prophesied battle that will end the world. Together, Kratos and Atreus venture deep into the Nine Realms in search of answers as Asgardian forces prepare for war. Along the way they explore stunning, mythical landscapes, gather allies from across the realms and face fearsome enemies in the form of Norse gods and monsters. As the threat of Ragnarök grows ever closer, Kratos and Atreus find themselves choosing between the safety of their family and the safety of the realms…”
Sony Santa Monica stated that the game debuts in 2022. They haven’t yet specified a release date. Starfield’s release date of November 11th may be contested by Sony due to that vide game’s postponement to 2023.
With Ragnarok nearing and a hidden ending that featured a vision of the great god Thor facing Kratos and Atreus at the end of Fimbulwinter, the 2018 video game God of War ended with a tease for a sequel. Later, we discovered that subsequent games would continue to be based in the Norse setting. They feature Atreus too, despite the fact that the game’s director, Cory Barlog, did not formally announce a new game. He did, however, indicate that the 2018 iteration would not be Kratos’s final game. A teaser appeared in the form of a dynamic background theme for the PlayStation 4 in April 2019. It included runes that said, “Ragnarok is coming.” on the side of Kratos and Atreus’ boat.
