X-Men Hellfire Gala – It Moves To Krakoa

Of course, the spectacle doesn’t disguise everything. There’s still a lot of tension rising between mutants and humans. But, they won’t deter the fantastic event from occurring.

Or maybe they’ll make everything more interesting?

Last year, we saw the terraforming of Mars. It shocked and awed the public with this surprising decision by the Quiet Council. But, this year promises more surprises. Some of them might change how the Marvel Universe sees mutantkind forever!

What is the X-Men Hellfire Gala?

It’s a unique event focused on the mutants. It’s a one-of-a-kind opportunity to see them at their most glamorous. Moreover, It offers special developments you won’t see in another X-Men issue.

Last year, the Quiet Council took the spotlight. They terraformed mars to allow the Arakko citizenship to build a new home. This year will see work from C.F. Villa, Matteo Lolli, Russell Dauterman, and more.

This gala is the second installment. So, it’s a relatively new annual event. Needless to say, it has countless surprises no one can expect. You can see your favorite X-Men dance, drink, and socialize in a unique setting.

But, that doesn’t mean it’s a boring evening. Far from it, the hosts do everything in their power to blow your mind!

Marvel’s preview sheds light on what readers can expect from the X-Men Hellfire Gala. The unique work by Lolli, Villa, and Dauterman is sure to blow you away.

Firstly, we have a sneak peek at the attending guests. The same goes for the growing tensions between the mutants and Super Heroes. For instance, one of Lolli’s pages confronts Emma Frost and Clea Strange. Another one matches Spider-Man and Doctor Doom. Doctor Doom is clad in fur, by the way.

In one of Villa’s pages, The Five emerge with Magik in tow. He joins up with Bishop as well. Mary Jane Watson also leaves Doug Ramsey to take Proteus for a walk. On another page, Emma and Cyclops dance. But, they do so under a vision of Moira MacTaggert. She almost managed to destroy mutantkind entirely.

Another page sees Emma raising a glass before the guests at Krakoa. Curiously, this includes a classified character. We’re yet to see who it is! But, the theories are plentiful.

Finally, we have the last sneak peek at Lolli’s work. It captures a moment shared by Professor Charles Xavier and Forge. But, the characters around them are just as curious. We have Iceman, Mystique, Captain America, and She-Hulk.

As you can see from the image above, the artwork is splendid. The issue is written by Gerry Duggan and the cover comes from Carlos Gomez.

Where can you get the X-Men Hellfire Gala?

The issue will be on sale on the 13 of July. It’ll be available at the usual fronts. And, you’re free to grab your favorite presentation.

Firstly, you can grab them at your local comic book shop. Just make sure you ask about social distancing policies. And, remember to ask for services like holding and pick-ups. A special delivery could also be all you need!
