A reader can flip through countless pages without even scratching the surface of the knowledge that’s gone on behind the scenes. We’re Getting A Docuseries About DC On HBO Max

The DC docuseries will have three parts designed to tell the various stories of one of the oldest comic book publishers. Themes will discuss their cultural impacts and evolution since its inception in 1934.

Greg Berlanti (who is also behind the upcoming Green Lantern series) is set to produce, with Leslie Iwerks executive producing and co-directing. Iwerks has a long history of working on documentaries. Her work includes 2007’s The Pixar Story, Recycled Life, and The Hand Behind the Mouse: The Ub Iwerks Story. DC Comics is one of the leading comic book publishers out there. But no hero can be successful without some allies, arch enemies, and great villains. Marvel Comics, has already released a docuseries on their creation and other important themes in their history.

Marvel’s 616 had its debut on Disney+ in November of 2020. This series shared exciting stories about different sides of the company. Episodes included tales about the influence of manga comics, women in comics, and more.

These docuseries are sure to be a hit on their respective streaming services, and we can’t wait to have this opportunity to learn more. There has not been a title or release date announcement for the upcoming DC docuseries for HBO Max, but Comic Years will be here to tell you when there is one.
