Crunchyroll Originals continues to bring brand new anime to the streaming platform with another original series. The series is a relationship drama with a lot of heart and humor. The show will premiere on Crunchyroll in October.

Crunchyroll has been amping up their lineup with brand new shows and series on their streaming platform. The latest originals from the streamer have been amazing fantasy shows like Tower Of God or fighting anime like The God Of High School, and many more. But the latest anime from the streamer is less sci-fi fantasy and more relationship drama. The series serves to round out the kind of original anime content that Crunchyroll offers.

Fly Me To The Moon is a fairly new manga released in 2018 by Kenjiro Hata. Winning multiple manga awards in the print category, the series is one of the newest beloved manga out there. It is still ongoing and is now the basis for the new Crunchyroll anime. The story follows a young boy saved by a girl from a car accident on his way to his high school exams. Enamored, the boy professes his love for the girl and asks her out. She agrees, but with only if he marries her first. It’s an unlikely premise that sparks a unique story.

Tonikawa: Over The Moon For You Trailer Is Sweet And Lighthearted

The trailer for Tonikawa: Over The Moon For You is just as breezy as the story seems to be. The voiceover even promises an uplifting series of love and dreams for the audience. It’s difficult to look at Tonikawa with skepticism due to how rarely a series is so upfront about its content and tone. Especially when the content is truly wholesome and uplifting. The series looks to focus on newlywed life, and how the unconventionality of their marriage affects the other relationships around them. So it’s a relationship drama that works on multiple levels.
