Record of Ragnarok Release Date For Season 2 Part 2 Revealed

The long-awaited and highly anticipated battle between Buddha and Zerofuku is finally coming to Netflix. Check out the new information we have, which includes the Record of Ragnarok release date and new cast members. 

What is the Record of Ragnarok about? 

Just a couple of years ago, Netflix jumped on the bullet train and decided to create anime series as well. This was a great decision, and they have so far created several great series. Record of Ragnarok follows the story of 13 ultimate battles between humans and Gods. 

Moreover, the anime shows Gods as they get increasingly angry at humanity. They got angry due to humans’ ingratitude that the Gods decided to erase them entirely. Thus, all the fighting! However, some of the Gods thought this punishment is not necessary.

This is why Brünnhilde came up with the idea of Gods battling amongst themselves first. Ultimately, whoever is the last standing gets to decide the fate of humanity. In order to win the tournament, a God must accumulate 7 victories across 13 battles. 

Brünnhilde goes on to collect a group of 13 God-like humans to compete against the Gods in the ultimate battle for survival. By the end of season 1 of Record of Ragnarok, Buddha stood by the human competitors instead.

Ragnarok Release Date (Season 2 Pt. 2) & Details

Just a couple of days ago, the official Twitter account for this anime released a third (and possibly final) key visual for the Record of Ragnarok season 2 finale. The key visual gives us a preview of the battle between two Gods. As this battle will ultimately decide the fate of humanity, anime fans around the world are eagerly expecting new episodes. 

The release date for the new episode is officially July 12th, 2023! This is when Netflix will add several new episodes to the streaming platform, marking the Record of Ragnarok season 2 complete. 

In addition to the final battle between the two Gods, the creators also revealed several new stunning visuals for other characters. For example, Zerofuku, Beelzebub, and Hades will join the season as well. 

The creators also welcomed new cast members. For example, Ryotaro Okiayu will join as Hades. In addition, Daisuke Namikawa will voice Beelzebub. Lastly, Tetsu Inada is joining the voice cast as Papiyas, the Gods’ representative.

Moreover, the creators finally listened to the fanbase, which wasn’t entirely happy with the animated fighting scenes. Therefore, the Yumeta Company will now animate the rest of the Record of Ragnarok.
