Demon Slayer: Hashira Training Arc Reveals Release Date

One of the most anticipated anime series Demon Slayer (Kimetsu no Yaiba) is officially animating the Hashira Training Arc. Now, we finally have more information about it, including the official release date!

Demon Slayer Release Date for Hashira Training Arc

A special live-stream event for the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Hashira Training Arc anime premiered a fresh promotional video and key visual on Saturday. This exciting video reveals that the anime will debut on Fuji TV and its affiliates with a one-hour special. The release date is May 12 at 11:15 p.m. (10:15 a.m. EDT). 

Following this, the new anime will also launch on Tokyo MX, BS11, Gunma TV, and Tochigi TV on May 18 at midnight. Furthermore, two compilation specials for the Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Swordsmith Village Arc are set to air on May 4 and 5 at 7:00 p.m.

Kimetsu no Yaiba: Swordsmith Village Arc

The theatrical release of “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba – To the Hashira Training” showcased the one-hour premiere of the Hashira Training Arc. Additionally, the episodes aired alongside the concluding episode of the Swordsmith Village Arc. This event kicked off in Japanese theaters on February 2 and embarked on a World Tour across various countries.

A special streamed Demon Slayer event on Saturday revealed that cast members Natsuki Hanae and Daisuke Namikawa will be heading to Bangkok for a screening on March 30, followed by Hanae and producer Yūma Takahashi’s visit to Mumbai on April 20. 

The Swordsmith Village Arc of the anime debuted on April 9, 2023, with a special one-hour episode. The arc was running for a total of 11 episodes, all of which Crunchyroll streamed first. The original anime adaptation of Koyoharu Gotouge’s “Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba” manga first premiered in April 2019. Initially, Aniplex of America licensed the series for streaming on platforms like Hulu, Crunchyroll, and Funimation. Additionally, Adult Swim’s Toonami block introduced the anime to audiences in October 2019.
